In 2016, we did a family safari to East Africa. Steven's creative energy to 'capture it all' with his camera was inspirational! We would be sitting at an outdoor dinner table in the evening, and suddenly an unusual bug would come zooming in, attracted by the table lights, usually crawling amongst the dinner plates. Immediately Steven would jump up, grab his camera, and begin a photo essay. So many great moments on that trip! (Note: the avatar is of a red-lipped batfish that Steven caught & released on our first ever international family trip to the Galapagos)
