Happy belated bday Steve! You'll be happy to know that many of the Roatan crew met up yesterday on Zoom to toast you at our annual Steven Keating bday celebration. We had Victoria, Calgary, New York, Ottawa and London all represented on the call.
I still have this MRI image that you sent me when you were first diagnosed with brain cancer and while a devastating thing to find you managed to be curious about it and proceeded to learn everything you could about it.
I thought about you this week as the Health Authority that I work for has told us we can start uploading documents to a patient portal where patients can view our admission and discharge notes from hospital. It's not what you would envision as open access, but it's progress and I'm sure if you were around we would have had a really interesting chat about it and I would have left that feeling like I'd learned something from you.
