Steven loved anything he could make fly - from making rockets soar to building a giant trebuchet to one of his early favourites, the potato canon! When he had the opportunity to choose from a short list of personal adventures at the start of a family holiday in Zimbabwe (2005), Steven chose to tour Victoria Falls from the air in an ultralight. It was not until he was safely back on terrafirma that we were told the ultralight was a homemade plane built in the local pilot's back yard. Best start of any holiday possible ... for Steven, but not for his parents!
