Steve's love for life was as insatiable as was his curiosity. He was as brilliant as he was kind. He was as funny as he was loving. Considering that Steven was the most interesting person in most people's lives (including mine), he always made you feel like you were the important one. Steve was always into antics - April fools jokes (a classic), nerding about something obscure (literally everything), partying with his friends (usually in costume), filming hilarious videos about Jeff Jackson (which are so good), trying to cook for himself (failing miserably), or recording late night ballads with friends (ask Paula for these) - and he always had time to learn something new. Everything inspired and interested Steven; and he made the world, and my little slice of it, so much better through his deep curiosity and his kindness. He made us all more interesting by just being around him; his joy of life, and his life-long-learning. Steve offered the world so much in his short time, and I will never get over this world taking him away from us so early. I am very lucky to have called him my friend, and his memory will stay with me forever. I miss him deeply.
